Civil Engineering Project at Laurencekirk

Nicol of Skene’s highly experienced team successfully completed the new Garvocklea Gardens development in Laurencekirk for Fotheringham Homes. Our team played a vital role installing the infrastructure for this 10-home development. 

The project involved undertaking a wide range of civil engineering tasks, including the installation of foul and storm sewers, pumping station, and rising main, utilities including water mains, BT, and streetlighting, as well as the construction of the roads, kerbing, and surfacing. 

One of the key challenges encountered during the project was the depth and diameter of the storm sewer system in a restricted working area. However, Nicol of Skene's team, with their extensive experience and expertise, successfully overcame this obstacle completing the works to a high standard.
