On 2nd September 2023 Nicol of Skene hosted its annual Family Fun Day, a cherished tradition that brings together our exceptional team in a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and exciting activities.
Our employees are the heartbeat of our company, and this day is a special opportunity to celebrate each of them. With such a diverse workforce, this event allows colleagues who may only interact digitally to meet face-to-face, connect with family members, and strengthen the bonds that make the Nicol of Skene community unique.
One of the day's highlights was the return of the infamous 'Sponge your boss' challenge. Employees had the chance to make a donation to our chosen charity, Friends of ANCHOR, in exchange for the privilege of throwing wet, soapy sponges at their bosses as they sat in stocks. Not only did this provide plenty of laughs, but it also raised funds for a wonderful cause.
The sun was shining brightly, adding to the enjoyment of the day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible suppliers who generously donated a variety of fantastic raffle prizes. Their support added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
