Nicol of Skene is proud to announce the arrival of our second Ditch Witch AT120 Horizontal Directional Drilling Rig, marking a significant milestone within an eight-month period. This strategic investment program underscores our commitment to meeting the ever-growing demand for HDD projects across the UK.

The Ditch Witch AT120, built in Perry, Oklahoma, is the world's largest All Terrain Drill Rig. Wrapped in our signature Nicol of Skene livery, it's already on its way to its first project in North East Scotland for a valued client. There, it will undertake the critical task of installing multiple ducts for a major cable project, requiring precise drilling under both a river and a trunk road.

We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in getting this exceptional rig operational. In the years ahead, it will be instrumental in tackling some of the most challenging ground conditions imaginable.

This new acquisition aligns perfectly with Nicol of Skene's unwavering dedication to continuous equipment investment. By prioritising cutting-edge technology, we ensure our clients consistently receive the highest standards of service. Our team is empowered with the best tools available, enabling them to deliver exceptional results and maintain Nicol of Skene's position as a leader in innovation and excellence within the HDD industry.
