Nicol of Skene are actively recruiting CIVIL CHARGEHANDS on a full time, permanent basis due to business growth and new contract awards.
Ideal candidates should have experience as a Chargehand on civil engineering projects and will be responsible for ensuring all works are executed safely, within programme and to the highest quality standards.
Successful candidates will have the ability to drive, manage and support a team and have previous experience of civil works on house building sites including plot works, roads, utilities and kerbing would be advantageous.

Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Chargehand on civil engineering projects
- Previous experience of civil works on house building sites including plot works, roads, utilities and kerbing would be advantageous
- Ability to drive, manage and support a team
- Ensure safe working practices
- Self-motivated with apositive can-do attitude
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience as a chargehand in the civil engineering industry
- Full UK driving licence
The following qualifications would also be preferred, but not essential:
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- Valid Street Works
- First Aid
- CPCS Dumper and Roller training
