Nicol of Skene are recruiting for an Estimator to be based at our Head Office in Westside, Skene.

Responsibilities shall include:

  • Carry out tender pricing and preparation
  • Review and prepare tender documents
  • Produce tender analysis to senior managers
  • Carry out on site measurement where required
  • Provide excellent customer service

Applicants should hold at minimum an HND in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or similar.  Experience in a Civil Engineering or Utilities would be an advantage.

Nicol of Skene are recruiting for an QHSE Manager to be based at our Head Office in Westside, Skene.

 

Back Break Out Area2

 

 The QHSE Manager will be based at the Aberdeen Office but will be responsible to cover a wide area of operations across Scotland.

 In this role you will be responsible for auditing and reporting on QHSE issues across a number of Civil Engineering and Utilities projects.

 The role will also have input into Company Management Systems, future Framework ITT's and PQQ's.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong Civil Engineering background
  • Ideally, experience with Utilities in a HSE role
  • Experience preparing statistical data, including presenting recommendations regarding preventative, corrective and remedial action
  • Strong problem-solving abilities through effective communication and the use of own initiative
  • NEBOSH Diploma and a relevant Environmental qualification, such as IEMA
