Due to continued expansion and growth, Nicol of Skene are seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setting out site works
- Checking others setting out of site works
- Preparing “As-Built” Drawings as required by Customers for all works
- Ensuring all work is carried out on time, to a high standard and as cost effectively as possible
- Assist in implementing CDM regulations including preparation of method Statements, Risk Assessments and all relative procedures in line with H+S requirements.
- Provide monthly measures to Commercial Director and assist with quantify additional works
The successful candidate should ideally:
- Have 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering work in various roles including “setting out” and sitework supervision.
-
Understand and have the ability to use all types of site measuring equipment.
- Have the ability to use CAD programmes
- Have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
